3598345 - [Latest People Profile ] MDF Portlet displaying error when groups configured for child object in Manage Configuration UI

This KBA explains the issues & current behavior of MDF portlet displaying issue in latest people profile when child object configured groups in Manage Configuration UI

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. There has Parent Object and configured Child object as association.
2. From Manage Configuration UI, configured groups under child object to group fields from the child object
3. From Manage Configuration UI, configured UI rules which are trying to set the visibility of the child groups configured in Step2
4. Configure this MDF UI in Latest People Profile

Result in Latest People Profile of this MDF Portlet:

• in MDF Summary Card the UI cannot render correctly and shows error: Looks like something went wrong

This is a known issue and our engineering team is investigating. we will update this KBA if there has any progress on it. 

Current Workaround: Please remove the UI Rules that trying to set the visibility of the child groups created for this UI.
