3598417 - Inconsistent Messages When Joining Wailist for Classes

• Users receive different messages when joining waitlist for different classes.
  • For one class, the notification message is 'User Name, your position on the waitlist is X'.
  • For another class, the notification message is 'User Name, your position on the waitlist is X. A notification email will also be sent to user@email when a seat becomes available for you'.

1. Log in and go to "My Learning"
2. Join waitlist for a class
3. There is a pop-up message: User Name, your position on the waitlist is X
4. However, when joining waitlist for another class, there is a different message: User Name, your position on the waitlist is X. A notification email will also be sent to user@email when a seat becomes available for you.

The cause of the issue is related to the 'Email Confirmation for User-Initiated Actions' section on the class details page.

If 'Email confirmation to the User' is set to No, users will not see this part of the message "A notification email will also be sent to user@email when a seat becomes available for you" as users would not receive email notification.

This is working as expected. The administrators can use this setting to control whether users receive email notifications or not when a seat becomes available.

They can adjust the 'Email confirmation to the User' setting on the class details page accordingly.
