3598600 - Error in Creating Production Planning Proposal

• System throws an error while creating a planning proposal for product ID with planning area A
• The error message received is "Production Model for Product ID on Date for Quantity not found".
• (Here A & B refers to the Planning Area IDs)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Select the Products view.
3. Filter for required product ID with area A
4. Choose Open.
5. On the Product Planning Details screen, use the Run Planning Button, Single or Multi-person, or choose the New Planning Proposal button.
6. The error message "Production Model for Product ID on Date for Quantity not found" is received.

The production model is created for supply planning area B with combination of required product instead of planning area A, which is causing the error hence no production model exists for planning area A.

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Select the Products view.
3. Filter for required product ID with area B.
4. Choose Open.
5. On the Product Planning Details screen, use the Run Planning Button, Single or Multi-person, or choose the New Planning Proposal button.
6. System creates required production proposal. 
7. And create a new Production Model for required product with combination of planning area A.
