3598689 - OData Service does not return data in either WebIDE or when UI5 code is deployed

Symptom

  • An issue is encountered while developing Fiori hybrid apps in the Web IDE environment using backend OData service in an ECC server.
  • After migrating to S4, the same OData service from the migrated S4 is connected from the Web IDE using BTP destinations.
  • The service works fine in the browser, but in the OData response, the returned data is not displayed.
  • The ODataModel.read function call back does not return any data.
