3598712 - AMC Windows Service cannot be started with message 'Invalid secure store file or file not found' - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When you start AMC Service on Windows, you get error below:
    • WARN 6552 --- [main] c.s.a.nanna.securestore.SecureStoreUtil  : Error in getting value of AMC_H2_FILE_PASSWORD from SAP ASE Secure Store. JZSIF: Invalid secure store file or file not found.
      WARN 6552 --- [main] c.s.a.nanna.securestore.SecureStoreUtil  : Error in getting value of AMC_H2_USER_PASSWORD from SAP ASE Secure Store. JZSIF: Invalid secure store file or file not found.
      WARN 6552 --- [main] ConfigServletWebServerApplicationContext : Exception encountered during context initialization - cancelling refresh attempt: 
  • ASE and AMC Windows Service are installed by different users.
  • You can start AMC from DOS with %SYBASE%\AMC\scripts\start_AMC.bat using the user who installed ASE.
