3598732 - Candidates initiated from Recruiting and Add New Hire to Onboarding (Manual Onboarding) are not appearing in the onboarding dashboard

Candidates initiated from Add New Hire to Onboarding (Manual Onboarding) are not appearing in the onboarding dashboard. There are no events captured in BPE. However, the UserId and ProcessId is successfully created. Additionally, none of the events are getting triggered in Business Process Engine (BPE). Hence system is unable to process any future onboarding process tasks.

NOTE: This is only reported in DC 55 at the moment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to Add New Hire to Onboarding
2. Enter the Mandatory details
3. Click on Initiate Onboarding
4. Candidate is not available in onboarding dashboard

• The outage was caused due to one tenant in DC 55 Server which had overloaded the server with ISC (Intelligent Service Center) Tasks.
• These ISC tasks were holding the DB connection and are blocking all the BPE task execution for all the tenants.

• Engineering Team has fixed the issue and restarted the BPE Server. 
• As a preventive to avoid such issues in the future, the tenant that was holding all db connections are limited and the servers have been restarted. Now the BPE servers are working as usual. No DB connection issue now.
• The candidates who were initiated during the downtime will slowly be retrieved back once the BPE Server load is cleared (This may take upto 24 hours). However, please test with new candidates as they will appear on the dashboard immediately.
• Similarly, the existing onboarding tasks can now be completed.
