3598786 - Error when saving Job Profile section due to non-alphanumeric text - Job Profile Builder

After the 1h 2025 release, an error occurs when attempting to save job profiles after making changes. The error message displayed is "You can’t save the sections (*Section Name*) because they contain non-alphanumeric text. The use of non-alphanumeric text may create potential vulnerabilities for cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. Update each of the sections to use only alphanumeric text."

SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder

1. Open Job Profile
2. Update one section
3. Attempt to save the job profile
4. See the error "You can’t save the sections (*Section Name*) because they contain non-alphanumeric text. The use of non-alphanumeric text may create potential vulnerabilities for cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. Update each of the sections to use only alphanumeric text."

This is a Known Issue.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed with the patch b2505p5:

planned for preview on 20th of May 2025 and production on 22nd of May 2025.
