3598939 - Accelerator Soft Login Functionality not working in SAP Commerce and SAP Commerce Cloud

Symptom

In the out-of-the-box (OOTB) accelerator, when a user logs in without selecting the 'Remember Me' option and closes the browser, the user should still appear as a logged-in user upon reopening the browser and revisiting the site. However, after reopening the browser and accessing the site, the user is treated as a guest. The Soft Login functionality in the customer's environment is not working as expected according to the OOTB behavior.
