SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
When simulating journal entries from app Post General Journal Entries, system prompts to use new version of Manage Journal Entries, by clicking 'Switch to New Version', the simulation screen does not open properly.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
Cause
This is known limitation.
Resolution
For now the new simulation dialog is not integrated in app Post General Journal Entries yet, to display correct simulation, old version of app Manage Journal Entries should be used.
Development is aware of this issue and fix is under planning. Till then it is recommended not click on “switch to new version” when in “simulation mode”.
Currently the fix date is not determined yet.
