3599151 - Bank Information rules not working for onboardees

Symptom

• During the onboarding process, Bank Country and Currency fields are expected to prepopulate based on business rules in Personal Data Collection Step.
• Despite configuring multiple business rules targeting these fields, the values are not auto-filled as expected during the onboarding form or personal data collection step.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

1. Login as an Onboardee.
2. Navigate to the Personal Data Collection step in the onboarding process.
3. Check the Bank Country and Currency fields in Bank Details— expected values based on business rules are not auto populating.
4. Navigate to Configure Business Rule – Validate the business rule trigger and configuration, all rule conditions are met yet bank country and currency fields don’t auto prepopulate.

Cause

• Expected System Behavior: SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 currently does not support pre-population of Bank Country and Currency fields via business rules in the onboarding process.
• Business rules for these fields are not invoked in the context of the onboarding process, hence values will remain unfilled even if rules are correctly configured.

Resolution

This is the expected product behavior.  As per current Onboarding 2.0 framework limitations, Bank Country and Currency fields cannot be auto prepopulated via business rules during onboarding. These fields must be selected manually by the onboardee.
