3599333 - Business catalog SAP_EAM_BC_MREQ_DSP_PC not found in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

The business catalog SAP_EAM_BC_MREQ_DSP_PC is not found when trying to add it to the BR_MAINT_SUPERVISOR role.
Scope items 4HH & 4HI are already activated.
Cannot access applications Change Maintenance Notification and Screen Maintenance Requests.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Attempt to add business catalog SAP_EAM_BC_MREQ_DSP_PC to the BR_MAINT_SUPERVISOR role, but the catalog cannot be found.

Cause

Business catalog SAP_EAM_BC_MREQ_DSP_PC is deprecated with release 2408, customers who activated scope items 4HH, 4HI after release 2402 will not find the catalog in system.

Resolution

As a successor, use business catalog SAP_EAM_BC_MREQ_SCREEN_PC instead. This catalog will authorize the user to access the Change Maintenance Notification and Screen Maintenance Requests applications.
When assign catalog SAP_EAM_BC_MREQ_SCREEN_PC to business role, the below dependent business catalogs must be assigned as well:
- SAP_CMD_BC_BP_DISP_PC
- SAP_CMD_BC_CUSTOMER_DSP_PC
- SAP_CMD_BC_SUPPLIER_DSP_PC
