Symptom

  • SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) fails when accessing the BI Launchpad, showing one of the following errors and prompting for manual login page instead of automatic login.
    • Account information not recognized: LDAP Authentication with an empty password is not supported when single sign on is not enabled.
    • The credentials passed to secSAPR3 [<entitlement_system_name>] are invalid.
  • The following error can also be found in the BI Launchpad webapp logs:
