3599447 - Get error FAGL_SWITCH_OP081 “Not possible to determine tax indicator in company code” in Schedule Accounting Data Changes app

In Schedule Accounting Data Changes app, when trying to enable open item management for an account, below error is met: FAGL_SWITCH_OP081 “Not possible to determine tax indicator in company code”.

Check the tax category of the account in Manage G/L Account Master Data app. If the value is < or >, then the account is a tax account. The error is shown correctly.

If the value is not < or >, switching on "Posting without tax allowed" for this G/L account is needed in order to enable open item management for the account. "Posting without tax allowed" can be switched off again after open item management is switched on.
