3599927 - Data Analyzer Not Supported for Model with Week-Granularity/ User-Managed Dimension in SAP Analytics Cloud

• When attempting to jump from a story to Data Analyzer in SAP Analytics Cloud, an error message is encountered: "Data Analyzer mode is not supported for a model with custom date dimensions."
• When trying to use Data Analyzer directly for the affected model, an error message is displayed: "The following model types cannot be used in data analyzer: Models with week-granularity or user-managed time dimension."

SAP Analytics Cloud, Data Analyzer

1. Log on to SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Attempt to open a story based on user-managed date dimension in the Data Analyzer.

The issue arises due to a limitation of Data Analyzer in SAP Analytics Cloud, which does not support user-managed date dimensions or week-granularity.

The corresponding team has plans to improve this feature, please follow: Data Analyzer should support models with week-granularity or user-managed time dimension.
