3599935 - FAA_CMP066 - Unable to Deactivate Company Codes in Fixed Assets Despite No Active Assets

Symptom

  • In the process of migrating from ECC to S/4HANA, company code statuses were temporarily changed to active in asset accounting.
  • An attempt to revert these company codes back to inactive status resulted in an error message stating "only possible to deactivate company code if there are no active assets".
  • Despite there being no active assets for these company codes with zero balance, the error persists.
