Symptom
- Canvas report scheduled in Report Distributor gives the following error message when opened:
[Role based security prevents the viewing of this component] - The report can be opened in report center without any problem, the issue only occurs in the export.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- Report Canvas
Reproducing the Issue
- Run the affected report in report center, there is no problem
- Open the report that was exported through Report Distributor, the report is blank with the error message
Resolution
Make sure that the owner of the bundle:
- Is an active user
- Has the default language set in English
If the above mentioned are correct but the issue still persist, there might have been a runtime filter in the report, or something was changed in the report since the creation of the bundle.
In that case, recreate the bundle in the Report Distributor.
