3600042 - Selection Parameters not working for Embedded Report

Symptom

While embedding a report via the UI Designer, you notice that the report is not respecting the parameters passed.

Reproducing the Issue

You have followed an SAP guide for embedding reports in the SAP Cloud Applications Studio.

Cause

The Report has global restrictions and is inhibiting the use of the filtering in the embedded scenario.

Resolution

Embedding via PDI will not work with any report that contains any global restrictions. Please consider building a custom report that meets the requirement.
