3600231 - Limitation in Downloading a Large Number of Attachments

• The SAP system only allows downloading 1000 attachments at a time.
• For downloading more attachments, manual selection is required which is impractical due to the volume.
• How to increase this limit of download of attachment from more than 1000 files?

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Library work center
2. Go to Attachments view
3. Go to Advance Search
4. Filter attachments by date
5. Select and download more than 1000 attachments

Issue: System does not allow more than 1000 attachments. Request to increase the limit to more than 1000 attachments at a time.

The limit for downloading attachments is only 1000 at a time, this is due to performance reasons. Downloading more than this may cause the download to fail.

1. Use tighter search criteria to reduce the number of files.
2. Download the files in smaller batches to avoid any performance glitch.

NOTE: SAP recommendation to Customer is to  don't download more than 1 GB data(combined size of single download).
