Symptom
In the Onboarding SuperAdmin (backend of Onboarding), how does the "API Authentication User" in "Feature SF_BizX_Connection" differ from "Service Logins" users?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0
Resolution
The main difference between "API Authentication User" in "Onboarding Feature SF_BizX_Connection" and "Service Logins" users is their purpose. Service Login users facilitate data exchange from any external source to the Onboarding system—for instance, transferring information from any external application to Onboarding.
Conversely, the "API Authentication User" in "Onboarding Feature SF_BizX_Connection" is designated for communication between the Onboarding application and SuccessFactors (BizX). This API user operates within BizX (Active user within BizX) and possesses permissions necessary for validating Onboarding data, such as transferring a candidate's information from the Onboarding system to Manage Data, specifically to OnboardingCandidateInfo.
