3600495 - Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material Items - Communication Error - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When using app Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material Items to make mass changes, it is unable navigate to app Maintain Bill Of Material  due to below error:

The Data Services Request could not be understood due to malformed syntax

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app "Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material Items"
2. Select multiple Bills of Material to change.
3. Choose "Edit" and then select the component to change.
4. Press "Simulate". 
5. Use the chevron button to navigate to app Maintain Bill Of Material .

The issue occurs for materials which have a space in the name of the material.

The fix will be delivered as part of the 2502.3 release, which will be available on 18th May 2025.

Until the fix is available, it is suggested to use materials without a space in the name, as these should work fine.
