3600514 - Net value calculation of service contract items in solution orders - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

There is a discrepancy between the "Net Value" and the "Price Detail" for a Service Contract Item in a Solution Order.

The item net value of a Service Contract Item is not based on the price details. Since the billing for a service contract is based on billing request lines, the sum of the net value on billing request lines is used as the item net value of a Service Contract Item. This is the system design.

• SC Itm w/o BRL: Item Net value = net value in price detail
• SC Itm (Ad-hoc Bill): Item Net value = net value in price detail
• SC Itm (Pri. Adptn.): Item Net value = sum of (billing request line net value)
• Service Contract Itm: Item Net value = sum of (billing request line net value)

It's recommended to use a proper item category according to the actual business requirements.
