3600750 - IAG - Repo Sync for On-Premise systems is causing GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED Dump

Symptom

During the Repository Object Synchronization job in Identity Access Governance (IAG) for S/4HANA on-premise and ABAP applications, the target system experiences frequent short dumps with the error GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED.

  • Full synchronization typically fails.

  • Incremental synchronization may succeed but is also at risk of failure.

  • The short dumps indicate the calling program is CL_SIAG_AUTH.

  • The RFC user involved has the correct authorizations; thus, authorization issues are ruled out.
