3600784 - Processing Warehouse Tasks Triggered by Kanban via API in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Warehouse tasks triggered by the Warehouse Kanban Supply into Production (3VT) best practice are not being sent to or received by the external system.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

The issue can be reproduced by attempting to process Warehouse Tasks triggered by Kanban via API in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system.

The issue is due to a known limitation on the ODATA API Service.

With this service, it isn't possible to do the following:

• Retrieve a warehouse task that has been passed on to a subsystem
• Retrieve a warehouse task with the status Blocked
• Retrieve a warehouse task for kanban production supply that doesn’t have a delivery reference
• Retrieve any other warehouse tasks other than those with the warehouse process categories Putaway, Picking, or Internal Movement
• Retrieve a warehouse order that doesn’t have any warehouse tasks
• Retrieve a warehouse order with the status Blocked
• Retrieve a warehouse order that has physical inventory documents
• Create multiple product warehouse tasks at a time
• Enter the catch weight quantity when you confirm a warehouse task
• Confirm warehouse tasks if Labor Management has been activated in your warehouse

As the request is currently not available in our Standard S4HANA Public Cloud product, I suggest to create a feature request to SAP (##2963059 - How to Submit Feature Requests for SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Product). With an Influence request opened, the feature request gains visibility by other customers and might speed up the release of this functionality in further product versions.
