3601026 - The Business Partner Replication stop working for Partner function

You are encountering errors in the Business Partner replication messages after the release of the new feature for Partner Functions.

Log in to the Sales Cloud Version 2 system

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Message Monitoring
3. Filter out the erroneous message for the entity: sap.crm.md.integrationmetadataservice.entity.businessPartnerS4ReplicationMessageIn
4. Key Mapping errors can be observed in the after-mapping payload:

SAP has introduced a feature for replicating Partner Functions from S/4 to all Sales Cloud Version 2 tenants. It's important to ensure proper adaptation. If you filter out partner functions on the S/4 side as per the integration guide and SAP Note https://me.sap.com/notes/3290399, you won't face issues.

However, if you don't filter them out, incoming messages may fail in Sales and Service Cloud since they won't be automatically filtered. 

The recommended approach is to filter out partner functions on the S/4 side.

To address this, you can choose one of the following solutions:

1. Filter the partner function out on S/4 side, by setting Filter Ref. Partner Function in MDGV_BP_SYS_PAR,  as described in the SAP note above

If you opt for the second approach, please ensure that you:

• Follow the Relationship setting for Sales Area Dependent

• Create or update the Value mapping for Business Partner Directed Relationship Partner Function Role and Partner Number Type

You should make the necessary adaptations and replicate the Business Partner again.
