3601075 - Replicate from ASE to IQ becomes slow after adding NUMERIC column in table schema for SRS

Symptom

  • Added NUMERIC type column in ASE source, IQ target got changed accordingly
  • After the schema change the replication becomes very slow and occasionally halts
  • Able to resume after halt but still very slow
  • In SRS log reports message:

    ERROR #1027 DSI EXEC(123(1) SERVER.DB) - /generic/dsi/hqocs.c(1754)
        Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 67175722, Severity 5 -- 'ct_results(): protocol specific layer: external error: There is a tds protocol error. An invalid numeric precision was received.'.
