The COPA field 'Business Unit' is not appearing for balance sheet items in the GL line items but is appearing for non-balance sheet items.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
- Only non-balance sheet account can post to profitability segment.
- In contrast, balance sheet account cannot post to profitability segment hence the COPA field 'Business Unit' is not appearing.
Resolution
This is standard behavior.
