3601284 - When saving a Job Requisition, a picklist, object, or derived field that is required is not saved although a value was entered - Recruiting Management

• Its not possible to update picklist fields on the job requisition. When updating the values they are being reverted back to “No Selection” or the previous value which was stored in that field.
• The following error appears in the console logs when updating the picklist: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'nextSibling').
• If the field is required, the requisition cannot be saved and the customer will see the validation “FIELDXYZ is a required field!”
• Please also be aware, customers are also reporting the error “Cannot read properties of null (reading 'nextSibling')”  in the UI after creating a requisition for the first time both from the “Create New” button and from position org chart.
• Please note there is a secondary impact of this issue where rules are not getting triggered because the fields which are responsible for triggering the rule are not getting updated.

1. Go to Recruiting
2. Select Job Requisition
3. Select values for picklist fields
4. Error occurs in console when selecting these fields
5. Saving the Job Requisition fails if picklist is required and it is not committed even though selected
