3601631 - Sales order items which are partially delivered but delivery status showing 'Fully Delivered' in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • A material in sales order that is partially delivered is not allowed for further delivery.
  • The delivery status of partially delivered item showing as 'Fully Delivered'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to create an outbound delivery for a partially delivered material in sales order.
  2. Observe that the system does not allow the item to be forwarded into the delivery.
  3. Check the delivery status of sales order item is 'Fully Delivered'.

Cause

This is due to the 'Underdelivery Tolerance' has been set for the sales order item.

Resolution

Change or remove the Overdeliv. Tolerance/Underdel. Tolerance in app 'Change Sales Order'(VA02) -> Item details -> Shipping -> Delivery Tolerance.
