Symptom
This article describes how to remove an unnecessary Time Account from Employee's Time File.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Cause
Resolution
- Open the Time File of the target employee.
- Go to Time Account Balances.
- Check the valid period of the Time Account which needed to remove.
- Go to Time Profile Tab.
- Find the Time Profile whose valid period involves the valid period of the Time Account which needed to remove.
- Go to Time Account Rules sub-Tab.
- Highlight the target Time Account.
- Click Remove.
- Note: To remove a Time Account, it is mandatory that no post or adjustment has been made during the period which the account will be removed.
- Note: All the same Time Accounts which are valid during the selected Time Profile's valid period will be removed from Time Account Balances.
