3601784 - Bulk Upload of Bin Locations in ByDesign

• There is a need to  create bin locations in bulk against a location.
• This limitation hinders the ability to use bin location function in ByDesign.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data
2. Navigate to the Locations view.
3. Search and select the relevant Site.
4. The option to enter multiple logistics areas is not visible.

• The system allows the creation of multiple logistics areas under a site.
• The Edit Site Layout screen provides the option to add multiple logistics areas under a site.
• However, there is no option to create and add new logistics areas via Excel upload.

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data
2. Navigate to the Locations view.
3. Search and select the relevant Site.
4. Choose the Edit Site Layout option.
5. Select the Add Multiple Logistics Areas button.
6. Enter the Pattern ID, From and To Logistics Area IDs and Reference Logistics area from which the new logistics areas/bins should be created.
7. Choose the OK button.
8. Review the list of Logistics Areas created and choose the Save button.

Note: Choose the Logistics Area for reference from under the same site.
