3601844 - Error:"An internal error occurred ... (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)" when creating a webi document based on another webi document

Symptom

  • The below error occurs when refreshing the LOV list of a web intelligence document based on another web intelligence document that has prompts:

    "An internal error occurred while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)" 

  • The prompt appears as a cascading prompt despite being a normal prompt in the source document.
  • The source document is based on a .unv universe.
  • The source document is refreshing without issues.
  • When converting the used ".unv" universe to ".unx", the issue is not observed.
