3601853 - Unable to view comments in the comment widget of a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

Comments are not visible for other users in comment widget of SAC story.

Environment

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD.

 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAC
  2. Open the story
  3. Notice in the comment widget, the comments are not visible for other users.

 

Cause

Due to not adding the filter on dimension member 'X', which is with Data Access Control enabled.

Resolution

Add a page filter with the dimension 'X' on which data access control is enabled to view the comments for all users.
