3602182 - Common Validation Errors for Retroactive Change Restriction in Time Recording Admissibility

When creating and updating the Retroactive Change Restriction section in Time Recording Admissibility as per the Help Portal Documentation: Creating Admissibility Rules That Define When Amendments Are Permitted, the following validation errors could occur:

• "You can only use the Retroactive Change Restriction if SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking is enabled."
• "The Effective As Of date must be later than or equal to the No Changes Allowed Before date." 
• "The period between the Effective As Of date and No Changes Allowed Before date must not be longer than 13 weeks."
• "Same Effective as Of Date should be unique within several slices of the Retroactive Change Restriction." 
• "Same No Changes Allowed Before should be unique within several slices of the Retroactive Change Restriction." 
• "Make sure there are no retroactive change restrictions whose Effective as of Dates are more than 2 years old."
• "Make sure there are no retroactive change restrictions whose effective as of dates are more than 2 years from now."

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

When creating or updating the Retroactive Change Restriction, the following validations are applied:

• The "Retroactive Change Restriction" and its fields are only visible when Time Tracking feature is enabled. 
• The "Effective as of" date should be same day or later than "No changes allowed before" date.
• The "Effective as of" date should be limited in the future by 13 weeks starting from "No changes allowed before" date.
• The "Effective as of date" should be unique across all "Retroactive Change Restriction" objects.
• The "No changes allowed before date" should be unique across all "Retroactive Change Restriction" objects.
• No retroactive change restrictions are allowed, whose "effective as of" dates are more than 2 years old. 
• No retroactive change restrictions are allowed, whose period effective as of dates are more than 2 years from now.
