3602354 - Reminder for Tasks using Groupware Integration

Symptom

When a task is created in SAP Sales Cloud V2 the reminder setting is not transferred to the Outlook via Groupware integration.

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Navigation menu.
  2. Go to Activity Manager view.
  3. Click Create Task.
  4. Fill in required fields.
  5. Under Reminder, select a value (e.g., 15 minutes before).
  6. Navigate to Groupware user view and access my Sync Status.
  7. Click Force Sync.
  8. Locate the synced task at Outlook.
  9. Check for notification/reminder settings on the event.
  10. Result: No reminder is set. 

Resolution

Currently, the specific reminder value set in a task is not passed to outlook, but it's possible to set the default reminder time, please follow the below steps:

    1. Open user menu.
    2. Go to Settings.
    3. Open Groupware view.
    4. Go to Users and open affected user, or go to the profile view.
    5. Under Sync Settings tab, for the Calendar sync options section, set the Reminder to wanted value.
    6. Click on save or save and apply profile to all users.
