3602381 - ODATA V4 API cannot export the Geo Location information of mobile Time Events

When exporting  the mobile Time Events via ODATA V4 API, the Geo Location information is missing. "Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental." 

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

1. Enable the Location Capture feature for a Clock In Clock Out Group as per the Help Portal Documentation: Creating Clock In Clock Out Groups. 
2. Create a Clock In time event with location information from the mobile SuccessFactors APP.
   
3. Check the Clock In time event from the Manage Clock In Clock Out page. Location information is available, including Address, Latitude and Longitude. 
   
4. Export the time events via ODATA V4 API as per the Help Portal documentation Exporting Time Events. 
5. Location information is missing in the Response Payload. 
   

As per the Help Documentation clockinclockout, this is a known limitation of ODATA V4 API. The following fields of Time Events are not supported for export:

• Geolocation information
• Logical day

As of current release, it's possible to export Time Events Geo Location information via csv. file in the Admin Tool Manage Clock In Clock Out.

If Geolocation information is required to be exported via ODATA API, please submit an enhancement request to have functionalities considered within future development cycles on the Customer Community Portal and the Customer Influence Portal.
