3602418 - When refreshing a report a Hierarchy table view is not seen within an SAP schema for BPC

Symptom

When refreshing an EPM Add-in report against a specific BPC model (standard model), the report fails to refresh with the error that a table is missing from the HANA database. The behavior only occurs for a specific model and is related to a dimension hierarchy table used within the model.

- Error generated:
'The database reports an unknown database object. The error message from the database generated was '"invalid table name:  Could not find table/view $BPC$H$* in schema SCHEMA_NAME'

- This error is also seen when going to the the SLG1 transaction code and reviewing the logs related to BPC.
