3602476 - IBP: IBP and CI-DS connection failure with error message CRFC error: RFC_LOGON_FAILURE- Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)

Symptom

When testing connection for IBP WebSocket RFC datastore, failed with error message:

  • Test failed for the default configuration 'default' of datastore: 'xxx':
    Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <xxx> using host <myxxx.scmibp1.ondemand.com>, client <xxx>, user <Communication user>, and system number <xxxxxx: CRFC error: RFC_LOGON_FAILURE- Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)[SAP Partner]>. Please make sure the SAP server is running and the login information is correct.
