3602602 - Error When Using Copied Content in Recruiting Emails - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When sending an email notification to the candidates and you paste formatted content into the new rich text editor, an application error occurs when trying to proceed.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Cause

The Security Scan feature is enabled.

The logs will show the following error message: "Input contains tags or attributes not defined in whitelist".

Resolution

The Security Scan is a Platform feature designed to prevent harmful content from being entered through text fields. SAP strongly advises against disabling it for security reasons.

Therefore, avoid using formatted texts. Instead, paste the content without formatting (Ctrl+Shift+V) and adjust the text within the email text editor afterwards.
