Symptom

  • A substitution rule was created for the DocumentItemText field in the Manage Substitution/Validation Rules app to provide a text description for the OPERATIONAL_GLOSS field in the Journal Ledger report (PE_JOURNAL_LEDGER).
  • Despite the configuration, the OPERATIONAL_GLOSS field remains blank.
