• To request a new feature or product enhancements, post it on SAP Customer Influence:
     
  
  • Continuous Influence is a great program for customers and partners to share feedbacks and ideas that help enhance SAP Products and Solutions.
  • It enables customers to submit ideas and vote on them.
  • Ideas are reviewed by SAP Product Management. Votes help to prioritize ideas along with other important selection criteria such as:
    • DESIRABILITY : How many customers voted for this? How many customers will benefit from it?
    • VIABILITY       : Is this Improvement Request globally relevant? Is this in alignment with SAP’s strategy for the product?
    • FEASIBILITY    : Is the development effort realistic?  Is this request achievable within the product’s architecture?
        
         
• To propose an enhancement for Crystal Reports:
      
  
  1. Go to the SAP Customer Influence, for the SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform
        
  2. Log on with your S-user and accept the terms of use.   
          
  3. Search if your idea has already been submitted, by entering keywords in the Search bar at the top.
      
  4. Vote for ideas that you wish to support and plan to take advantage of in your organization.
     (You will be notified on updates regarding ideas you have voted for.)
         
  5. Submit an idea if you cannot find an idea that matches your need, by clicking on the button: "Submit Improvement" 
         
      
         
  6. On the New Improvement request form, fill the following information:
        
     
     • For "Project": Leave it to, SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform. 
     • For "Title": Enter a title summarizing the enhancement.
     • For "Category for SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform": Select: "Crystal Reports"   ( Important steps to propose Crystal Reports enhancement )
     • For "Description": Describe your improvement request, what opportunity / problem the request address, and the benefit.
     • For Attachments, add any attachments that can help in explaining the enhancement.
               
  7. Once complete, at the bottom right corner, click "Submit"
     
     
      
  8. Wait for Review: Once your idea has been submitted, other customers can see and vote for it. Ideas that reach the voting threshold (minimum number of votes) will be reviewed.
     • Voting threshold: Each product session may have different thresholds. You will find this information on the session landing page of each product.
     • Ideas that have little to no votes from the community are automatically closed to help ease of navigation & visibility for the community.
         
  9. Review Result Communication: Each quarter, a blog is posted with the information on the accepted and delivered ideas.
