3602810 - Not Required or To be Submitted Single Record Approval saved when applying from Quick Action

Symptom

As of 1H 2025 release, we introduced Quick Create on Time Sheet UI for time tracking customers.

Below symptoms may be experienced when creating Single Record Approval recordings via Quick Action for Legacy Week time sheets.

  • Not Required status SRA saved and minutes later it may become To be Submitted.
It is noticed the time record that requires individual approval (Single Record Approval) cannot trigger workflow when it is created from Quick Create popup with Apply Planned Time checkbox selected.
A Single Record Approval should be set to To be Approved status after it is saved on Time Sheet UI, but now it is shown as Not Required status.
  • To be Submitted status SRA saved when creating or copy-pasting multiple SRA records across different weeks.
You can create, or copy-paste SRA records for mulitple days from Quick Action, and even across different legacy weeks.
The status of such SRA records should be To be Approved once saved, but they are shown as To be Submitted wrongly.
    Workflow is not triggered either.
