3602944 - Issue with Cron Jobs not Triggering After Nodegroup Update to Background Processing in SAP Commerce Cloud

Symptom

When a large number of B2BAcceleratorCartToOrderJob cronjobs are triggered simultaneously, the associated ReplenishmentOrderProcess business processes may remain stuck in the RUNNING state. As a result, the cronjobs do not complete as expected and continue to occupy task threads, eventually exhausting the thread pool.

The error message associated with this issue is

  • "could not read serialized value [fieldName=VALUE1]".
