3603157 - Generic Warehouse Task creation does not follow Storage Type Search Sequence

Symptom

Scenario:

  • User creates a Storage Type Search Sequence for putaway called ABC.
  • Storage Types &1, &2 and &3 are part of Search Sequence ABC.
  • Under Storage Type &1 customizing the field WT Generic is maintained as '1 - Storage Type and Storage Section' or '2 - Only Storage Type'.
  • During confirmation of a Warehouse Task (WT), if no bins are available for putaway in Storage Type &1, the system does not consider the next Storage Types in the Search Sequence (ST &2 or ST &3) to suggest the putaway to.
