3603175 - Data Type Of External Code Is Changed To "Number" In Country/Region Specific Legal Entities - 1H 2025

The data type of external code field in all the country/region specific legal entities are changed from "Auto number" to "Number" from the 1H 2025 release.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Foundation Object

1. Login to the instance
2. Navigate to "Configure Object Definitions"
3. Open any Country/Region Specific Legal Entity. For example: "Legal Entity Argentina"
4. Under Fields --> check the Data Type of the externalCode 
5. Value is "Number" which was "AutoNumber" prior to 1H 2025 release.

• This is an expected change with 1H 2025 release to make sure Country/Region specific MDF objects can be included into Configuration Transport Center.
