3603202 - Code value not valid; enter up to 30 alphanumeric characters as code value.

Symptom

When attempting to add or modify values in the KUT field within Tickets, an error message appears: "Code value not valid; enter up to 30 alphanumeric characters as code value."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Service Work Center.
  2. Open the Ticket view.
  3. Select any Ticket and enable Adaptation Mode.
  4. Locate the KUT field and add a new line of code.
  5. At this point, the following error message will appear: "Code value not valid; enter up to 30 alphanumeric characters as code value."

Cause

The error indicates that the provided code value is invalid. This typically occurs because:

  • The code value exceeds the 30-character alphanumeric limit.
  • The code value contains spaces, which are not allowed.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please take the following steps:

  1. Identify the code value causing the error.
  2. Adjust the code value to ensure it:
    • Does not exceed 30 alphanumeric characters.
    • Does not contain any spaces.

By making these adjustments, the error should no longer occur.
