3603416 - Job Application - Required field validation does not happen for enum type fields - Recruiting Management

• Recruiters are able to move an applied candidate without filling in mandatory enum type fields in the Job Application.
• Validation error for enum fields is not triggered when changing the application status using Move Candidate or Drag & Drop.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Confirm that the candidate has applied.
2. Attempt to change the application status through Move Candidate or Drag & Drop.
3. Notice that no validation error occurs when mandatory enum fields are left blank.

Note: This issue is specific to the enum field. Mandatory fields will be validated if the candidate has applied. Refer to KBA 2613826 for information on when the required field validation happens.
