3603444 - Missing Serial Number in Confirmation Journal Report

The "Confirmation Journal" report does not display the posted serial number.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Business Analytics work center.
2. Proceed to the Design Reports view.
3. Search for the Confirmation Journal report.
4. Execute the report after entering the mandatory details, for example, Confirmation ID, product ID and so on.
5. No serial number can be found.

The Confirmation Journal report is not designed to display Serial Numbers/Registered Products.

Check from data source "Registered Product Movement History (ID: REG_PROD_MH)" which contains serial numbers movement information and understand that there is no confirmation ID in the report REG_PROD_MH and it is only related to the serial number tracking, so system does not have feasibility to show the serial number along with confirmation ID in the same report. 

Confirmation Journal report does not show the serial number along with the confirmation ID, it’s a designed behavior.

For new system functional requirements, post it in the Influence Forum so that SAP Development team will look into this and may improve the system functionality in the future releases.
