Symptom

The error message "No documents found for the selection" appears while running the India Withholding Tax (TDS/TCS) Status Report for the TCS report.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the "India Withholding Tax (TDS/TCS) Status Report" application.
  2. Maintain the mandatory field values.
  3. Click on "run" button to generate the report.
  4. The error message "No documents found for the selection" appears.

Cause

Missing Configuration.

Resolution

  • Maintain the GL account against which the TCS is posted in the configuration activity "Assign Target G/L Account to the Company Code" (SSCUI: 103941).
  • Additionally, ensure the TCS condition type is maintained in the configuration  activity "Classify Condition Types" (SSCUI: 101934).

Note: In the "Assign Target G/L Account to the Company Code" configuration activity only one entry can exist for each company code. This is the current system behavior.
