3603801 - Required fields are not validated for Forwarded Candidates in Latest Workbench - Recruiting Management

Move button in Latest Workbench is not validating required fields for Forwarded Candidates (Late Stage Applicants), even after the introduction of the drag and drop functionality in b2505 release.

This is an expected behavior.

The existing behavior in the Legacy Candidate Workbench to prompt users to fill out required fields for Forwarded candidates was only when moving candidates from the Status Dropdown as the fields were already editable for the users. If instead the candidates were moved via Advance Candidate or Move Candidate buttons, or via the Drag and Drop feature, it would bypass these required fields.

In the Redesigned Candidate Workbench, the only way to move candidates is via drag and drop and by using the Move Candidate button, so the behavior is consistent. Furthermore, the fields in the Legacy Candidate Workbench were already editable when you try to move the candidate via the Status dropdown as the application was opened for this action, prompting the users to fill out the required fields in order to move the candidate onwards, whereas in the Redesigned Candidate Workbench you have to click on the Edit button in order to modify these fields, reinforcing that these required fields are bypassed for late stage applicants.
