3603930 - Quick Create Function does not consider Custom Fields When Apply Planned Time is selected

Symptom

  • When using the Quick Create functionality in the Time Sheet UI, the custom field becomes hidden when the Apply Planned Time option is selected.
  • Custom field value get cleared after selecting the "Apply Planned Time" option. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking 2505

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable the "Apply Planned Time" function for an Attendance time type, for example "reb_0628", as per the Help Portal Documentation: Configuring Apply Planned Times in the Create Recordings Dialog
  2. Navigate to the Time Sheet UI of a clock-time recorder, click the Quick Create button, and select the first option: Recordings. 
  3. Select time type "reb_0628" and fill in the custom field value on the right side. 
  4. Tick the Apply Planned Time option. 
  5. Notice that the custom fields are hidden. 
  6. Click the Create button.
  7. Check the newly created entry and notice that the custom fields are not filled. 

Cause

The "Apply Planned Time" function does not consider any custom field. This is a consistent design with the old Apply Planned Time function from the button on the top right corner before the 2505 release. 

Resolution

If the custom field is required for Apply Planned Time function, please choose one of below options:
